I alternate daily between the Early Bird and The Kingmaker depending on mood and situation. I find the Early bird to be a very pleasant, friendly scent, albeit still masculine. I also usually have very dry flaky skin, and after rubbing these oils into the skin at the base of my beard for a few weeks daily, I have eliminated all flaking and it has not come back. This feature itself is worth more than the price to me because expensive dandruff shampoos for some reason didn’t cut it. Lastly, I’ve multiple products over the years from Savvy Jack and have been very pleased with all. Even the first comb I ordered has held up and shows no sign of failure.
The scent was a little strong at first, but got better. Oil goes right into the beard, right away no greasy after mass. It took a few days and beard was much softer! Going to try unscented next time around!
I am a Kingmaker, this is my scent. Be forewarned, it smells very masculine. Hard to explain, but It is not flowery like some others I have tried in the past. That said, it is not over-powering and pretty much just lingers throughout the day, and if there was even a hint of obnoxiousness about it, my wife would not hesitate to make me aware. Combined with the Triplejack or superglide, my beard looks and feels much fuller, soft, and kept. My skin underneath the beard is less dry and flaky also. For use, I drip 7 drops into my palm; rub my hands and fingers together a bit; Then run it through my beard, as well as massage it into my skin; After it’s fully applied, I brush through with the TripleJack. I’ll probably try another scent eventually, but I will definitely order the Kingmaker again when I start to get low. (The bottle it comes in is a work of art also)
Love the look and size of the bottle. The scent of the oil is amazing and makes my mustache really soft. Palo santo is one of my favorite scents so I’m glad you made an oil with that scent and I hope it sticks around for good. I will definitely be checking out the other scents and looking forward to any more that you may make.
